Bed Wetting Foods: Myth or Reality?
Bed wetting is commonly noticed in kids, especially those who fall under six years old category. It isn't caused by laziness or done to get attention. Bed-wetting maybe caused due to many reasons.

Children who do it just don't have the necessary control, and don\'t wale up when their bladders are full. Bed-wetting can also happen to kids above 6 years and the prevalence decreases as one grow older.

Children's who wet their beds produce more urine at night than others, because of a low level of hormone that controls how much urine is produced while one is sleeping. Other have bladders that just can't hold a lot.

Overweight has also been linked to bedwetting, as excess weight is related to poor kidney and bladder functions.

Tips To Control Bed wetting

Some foods associated with bed wetting include:

Wheat and dairy products, gluten grains such as oats, rye and barly, soy, corn, eggs, chocolates, and peanuts. The two foods that some believe may cause bed wetting - which are spicy foods and citrus foods is a myth.

There has been no evidence or connection between spicy and citrus foods with bed wetting.
Dairy
Children's consuming milk close to bedtime. It is best to cut out dairy a few hours before going to bed and see if this works for your kid.

Chocolate
Chocolate has caffeine, which stimulates urine production. Certain Chocolates have more caffeine than others. Chocolate milk and hot cocoa are cotain a lot of caffeine. So keep them away to control bedwetting.

Food Triggers
There maybe certain foods that a child is particularly sensitive to, and that can cause bedwetting. This may differ from one child to another. Some common food allergens that can cause bedwetting are corn, eggs, peanuts, wheat, dairy and soy.

Sugar
Children may be sensitive to foods that contain sugar. You may want to keep a check on how much sugar your kid is consuming either before bedtime or during the day, and limit it accordingly. Try limiting sugary foods from early afternoon through evening, to see if bedwetting stops.

  • Limit liquids before bedtime
  • Encourage regular bathroom habits, especially before bedtime
  • Avoid punishments
  • Wake the kids up and ensure they empty their bladder at night.
  • Diet and nutrition plays a very important role in controlling bed wetting.

Here are some tips to help you use energy more efficiently at home

  • Switch to low energy lighting throughout your home that uses one-fifth the energy of normal light bulbs. CFL bulbs are a good energy saving option.
  • Use movement sensitive lights areas like hallways so that every time you pass by or leave a room, the lights automatically sense it and turn on or turn off.
  • Always turn off your computer and television. Never keep them on standby as this consumes more energy.
  • Don’t forget to switch off broadband connections, speakers or printers. They are all mini energy guzzlers which, taken as a whole, amount to a lot.
  • Look for refrigerators and washing machines having the highest energy efficiency rating.
  • As regards cooking appliances, mini crowaves are the most efficient as they cook fast.
  • Get batteries that can be recharged rather than recycled.
  • Install solar panels on your rooftop. In climates like ours, a solar heating system can provide 50 to 75 percent of domestic hot water use.
  • The energy (natural gas, propane, electricity, etc) needed for hot water heating can be reduced by 60 to 90 percent by using a solar water heating system to pre-heat water before it enters your existing traditional water heater.
  • Costing far less than a new conventional heating system, solar air heating system usually pay for themselves in 3 to 6 years. The typically last for 18 to 35 years and require minimal maintenance.
  • Get a switch installed, which checks your power usage. This will automatically turn off the power if the usage is more than the prescribed load.

  • When planning a wall mural, choose a spot, which gets the greatest amount of attention, and the least exposure to air to prevent wear and tear of the mural.   • For general cleaning, a sudsy solution of mild soap and lukewarm water should be applied generously to the wall mural using a soft cloth with very light pressure.
  • Before you go on scrubbing spree, test a small area of the wall mural prior to working your way to a larger area. Too much of scrubbing with harsh cleaning materials may damage the wallpaper mural.

Amidst the din surrounding Sanjay Dutt’s impending jail term in connection with possession of illegal ammunition during the 1993 Mumbai blasts, what has come to the fore is that the actor is working round the clock to keep up his commitments.

Dutt, who had recently stated that many in the film industry have been spreading false news about him, has created a new record by dubbing for ‘Policegiri’ in just three hours.

Talking to a leading daily, producer Rahul Agarwal inform “It is humanly impossible for someone to be as good as Sanju. He completed dubbing for the entire film in just three hours. Dutt had to surrender to the police last month around, April 18, but had appealed to the Supreme Court to grant him some more time to complete his impending work.

The actor will also be seen playing the role of Sher Khan in ‘Zanjeer’ remake, a character essayed by veteran actor Pran in the original version. The film in question will mark the debut of Ram Charan Teja, the son of Telugu superstar and Congress MP Chiranjeevi.
