Bed Wetting Foods: Myth or Reality?

Bed wetting is commonly noticed in kids, especially those who fall under six years old category. It isn't caused by laziness or done to get attention. Bed-wetting maybe caused due to many reasons.

Children who do it just don't have the necessary control, and don\'t wale up when their bladders are full. Bed-wetting can also happen to kids above 6 years and the prevalence decreases as one grow older.

Children's who wet their beds produce more urine at night than others, because of a low level of hormone that controls how much urine is produced while one is sleeping. Other have bladders that just can't hold a lot.

Overweight has also been linked to bedwetting, as excess weight is related to poor kidney and bladder functions.

Tips To Control Bed wetting

Some foods associated with bed wetting include:

Wheat and dairy products, gluten grains such as oats, rye and barly, soy, corn, eggs, chocolates, and peanuts. The two foods that some believe may cause bed wetting - which are spicy foods and citrus foods is a myth.

There has been no evidence or connection between spicy and citrus foods with bed wetting.
Dairy
Children's consuming milk close to bedtime. It is best to cut out dairy a few hours before going to bed and see if this works for your kid.

Chocolate
Chocolate has caffeine, which stimulates urine production. Certain Chocolates have more caffeine than others. Chocolate milk and hot cocoa are cotain a lot of caffeine. So keep them away to control bedwetting.

Food Triggers
There maybe certain foods that a child is particularly sensitive to, and that can cause bedwetting. This may differ from one child to another. Some common food allergens that can cause bedwetting are corn, eggs, peanuts, wheat, dairy and soy.

Sugar
Children may be sensitive to foods that contain sugar. You may want to keep a check on how much sugar your kid is consuming either before bedtime or during the day, and limit it accordingly. Try limiting sugary foods from early afternoon through evening, to see if bedwetting stops.

  • Switch to low energy lighting throughout your home that uses one-fifth the energy of normal light bulbs. CFL bulbs are a good energy saving option.

  • Costing far less than a new conventional heating system, solar air heating system usually pay for themselves in 3 to 6 years. The typically last for 18 to 35 years and require minimal maintenance.
  • Get a switch installed, which checks your power usage. This will automatically turn off the power if the usage is more than the prescribed load.

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt's new record

Sanjay Dutt
Amidst the din surrounding Sanjay Dutt’s impending jail term in connection with possession of illegal ammunition during the 1993 Mumbai blasts, what has come to the fore is that the actor is working round the clock to keep up his commitments.

Dutt, who had recently stated that many in the film industry have been spreading false news about him, has created a new record by dubbing for ‘Policegiri’ in just three hours.

Talking to a leading daily, producer Rahul Agarwal inform “It is humanly impossible for someone to be as good as Sanju. He completed dubbing for the entire film in just three hours. Dutt had to surrender to the police last month around, April 18, but had appealed to the Supreme Court to grant him some more time to complete his impending work.

The actor will also be seen playing the role of Sher Khan in ‘Zanjeer’ remake, a character essayed by veteran actor Pran in the original version. The film in question will mark the debut of Ram Charan Teja, the son of Telugu superstar and Congress MP Chiranjeevi.
